GlobalCalc

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information GlobalCalc processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

01

Information kept on your device

Calculations, calculation history, selected currencies, travel presets, fee and tax settings, app preferences, cached exchange rates, and aggregate product counters are stored locally. The product counters do not record entered amounts, selected currencies, presets, or device identifiers.

GlobalCalc does not require an account and does not ask you to provide a name, email address, payment-card number, or precise location. Local app data may be included in Android backup or device-transfer features according to your device and Google account settings. You can remove local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.

02

Advertising and consent

GlobalCalc uses Google AdMob to display banner advertising. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share information such as IP address, device and advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information, and other data used to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform asks for your choices before GlobalCalc requests ads. You can review or change those choices from Settings → Privacy and ads → Privacy options whenever Google requires that entry point to be available. Your choices can affect whether ads are personalized and how advertising and measurement storage are used.

03

Firebase Analytics

GlobalCalc uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage and reliability at an aggregate level. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google configuration, Firebase Analytics may process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction or diagnostic events. We use this information to understand feature usage and improve the app; we do not use it to identify you by name.

In addition to events collected automatically by Firebase, GlobalCalc sends screen names and six fixed product-event names: currency session, currency completion, real-price expansion, real-price copy, floating-currency completion, and banner impression. These custom events contain no entered amount, selected currency, preset, calculation result, or other custom parameter.

04

Crash and performance monitoring

GlobalCalc uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, application-not-responding errors, and related reliability problems. Crashlytics may process crash stack traces, diagnostic and app-state information, app and device metadata, installation identifiers, and Analytics breadcrumbs that help explain what happened before an error.

GlobalCalc uses Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure technical performance such as app startup, foreground and background activity, screen rendering, and HTTP or HTTPS request timing. Performance Monitoring may process app, device, network, timing, response, and diagnostic metadata. These services are used to maintain reliability and performance, not to record calculator entries or calculation results.

05

Live exchange-rate services

When GlobalCalc refreshes currency rates, it connects to one of its configured providers: ExchangeRate-API, Frankfurter, or the Fawaz Ahmed Currency API. The request can reveal your IP address, ordinary network metadata, and requested currency codes to the provider. GlobalCalc does not send your entered purchase amount, calculation history, travel presets, or advertising identifier to these exchange-rate providers.

06

Service providers and international processing

Google and the exchange-rate providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies, and may process it in countries other than yours. Their retention periods and controls are governed by their policies.

07

Your choices and rights

You can clear locally stored data through Android settings, uninstall the app, change available consent choices through GlobalCalc's privacy options, and manage the advertising controls offered by Google and Android. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection for personal data under applicable law.

To ask a privacy question or exercise a right relating to GlobalCalc, email yangbocai.ybc@gmail.com. For information controlled directly by a service provider, use that provider's privacy controls or contact process.

08

Children, security, and changes

GlobalCalc is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We may update this policy when the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
